Join Mayor Bowser’s Budget Engagement Forums

Mayor Bowser will host three Budget Engagement Forums throughout the District in February. The forums will be open to the press and the public. The purpose of the forums is to solicit public input, and use the input to shape the Bowser Administration priorities and investments for the coming year, and determine where to invest our resources in the next fiscal year budget.

This is the third year the Mayor will host the Budget Engagement Forums. Based on input Mayor Bowser received at the forums the last two years, she made historic investments in affordable housing and strategies to end homelessness.

The Budget Engagement Forums are scheduled for Thursday, February 23 at Woodrow Wilson High School (Atrium), Saturday, February 25 at the Department of Employment Services, and Monday, February 27 at Columbia Heights Education Campus (Gym).

At the forums, Mayor Bowser will present an overview of the current budget environment. Following the presentation, Administration Officials will facilitate small group discussion on specific budget priority topics.
